Not saying it didn’t happen(know plenty of legal adults who did too) but alcohol in coffee cups is really just hearsay unless you saw it poured into the cup… I was there last night and it didn’t seem like the younger crowd were the rowdy ones from where I was but it was pretty crowded. Also not saying I would do it personally(I don’t have kids)but if a parent wants to buy their 20 year old a single drink to celebrate I don’t see the big deal, it’s legal plenty of other places. I recognize the Marriott has to protect their own interests though and that’s their responsibility, they should have been carding people at the bar if they were that concerned though which they weren’t even doing(and have never done in my memory).
