Roope, what a great way to stay close and connected with your girls. All my life I have preferred to be barefoot (I’m 31 now) and now my girls are the same way at 8 and 10. I loved the closeness that it made possible for me and my parents. Now it’s the exact same way for my girls and I ! Seeing them barefoot all day, then after supper laying on the couch, barefeet in my lap is such a blessing. I also love the times in their rooms at bedtime when I can just rub their feet and enjoy the warmth of being together bonding with them.
