Subject: Happy Mother's Day
In the US, anyway. For anyone with mothering duties, no matter the birth status or gender, I hope your day is special. Although, it's challenging to find ways to celebrate while we also shelter in place, it's doable.
Chris, I hope you have a chance to sing to your mom, even if it's a virtual visit. I've seen so many instances of this with the elderly and I do think song breaks through many obstacles some face in their understanding and memory. Hopefully, you know you've been a world-class son.
To any of you with elderly parents, your continued love and connection to them makes you a superhero to me. Most of you I don't know personally, but I look forward to being at the same concert as you in the future.
