I'd like to add that we as fans might want to limit the booing of the coach for another reason...

When a Siena coach is successful and moves on, many here feel betrayed or let down. I can understand that, but will we be able to say that if/when Lanier leaves for greener pasteurs? He can't really say "wow, they were behind me all the way". Sure we are...when he's winning. The second there's trouble in paradise we abandon the guy. We're the first to say how we've been used - what about the other way around?

I'm not saying I'm happy with the recent slide, but I really believe you have to give Lanier some time. Look at Gonzo at MC. There's a guy who, like Lanier, recruited well early but coached himself out of lots of wins over the years. Last year and now this year he's put together solid wins against major-conf teams and is rolling through the MAAC. Let's give the coach some more time, some more support and hope he develops and takes the program where we want and know it can go!

Let's Go Saints!
