Ron,
If there is any place that Tezmar can play at the Division 1 level I would imagine it to be center. It will be quite a project. What does Siena need more 3's and 4's for?
He has no jump shot so the 2 and 3 are out of the question.
He is skinny and could not play against 4's in the MAAC.
Potential is there to play like Monte. I don't think that Siena has the supporting cast to hide his offensive deficiencies. Siena needs a point guard after Karangwa leaves don't they?
See you next week,
Jim

Tezmar needs to

look for his shot more. He doesn't shoot from 10 ft. on out. He scores all his points on putbacks and pounding the glass. Now there's nothing wrong with that but, he also needs a medium range game against zone defenses. He also needs to have post moves with his back to the basket. He's athletic enough to have these qualities but hasn't worked on these skills. Good luck Tez, I know you have it in you baby! Give it up!!

Not sure why Luzzi did not start. Good point on "wait and see" for Luzzi to increase his output as the season goes...What about a player like Tezmar Caldwell of Morristown? He is 6' 9" and does not seem to score at any level consistently. I think he had 4 point against West Morris. What's p with that?

It was like this

Morristown looked totally unorganized and confused breaking the press. All they had was pressure on the guards. It was totally man to man pressure. When you take away the guards who can't handle the pressure, it takes away your effectiveness with your big men. Tezmar had to help bring the ball up court. Totally sloppy game by both teams for a while. Morristown had at least 25 turnovers against the pressure. I don't see them going far in the states if they keep playing the way they've been playing so far this season. Goooood Luck!!
