I think he is probably among the only people that would say so early on that Lanier may have been a better choice than VBK (1 with head coaching experience, the other without). I'm all for being inventive and creative but with those kinds of POVs, hell pay me to do it because I say some of the most outlandish stuff on this message board. I'll work for press passes and hot dogs (with Saintly's reviews firmly in hand).

I don't think that it's about getting people talking, it's about stirring up some recognition for the Buffalo News. The SBU guys' panties are sure in bunches after that.
