The Pepsi and Siena College come hand-in-hand. I do not see an on-campus venue at Siena simply because it would cost way too much money. In the mind of the administration, SPENDING money on a new facility would be pointless due to all of the money they are already MAKING at the Pepsi. I think that Siena will have to head in the other direction, and simply try and put more bodies into the seats at the Pepsi. As the Saints get better and better (and there is no doubt that they will, look at the roster), student interest will grow more and more. Last year the MAAC Championship (while not one of the greater attendance figures in Siena history) was an awesome display of support by the students. Should Siena move up in conference and bring in stronger, even more ranked opponents, I don't see any reason why the Pepsi cannot work. I have always dreamed of a beautiful on-campus arena, but I am just trying to be realistic.
