I love Apocolyptic literature. I have read some of the series. I am currently on "Nicolae." I have done some study on the "rapture". I don't hold a certain view on the "rapture," if it even takes place. There is so many different views on that topic, and they all have supportive evidence. My method is to have a decent understanding of all or most views, and then sit back and watch the signs unfold. If they signs seem to be leading to pre-trib, then I will no what to expect next. I find it more important to know the endtimes prophecy so one can judge the things that are happening in the world, and use them as sign posts that mark where we are going. Then, one can prepare for the future. Get closer to Christ, start evangelizing more, etc.

Your husband is correct, the word "rapture" does not appear in the Bible. It is Latin for "being caught up" or something in that order. I do not remember.

Loving prayers,
Zuriakim
