like I said srict interpretation of the law says it is against the law to copy them without permission, but I highly doubt there is a person who has never recorded a tape or a movie or anything, I have lots of copied tapes, but they are for me and my family, not for resale, which I think if you illegally copy them for resale then in essence you are stealing
