Hi Alex,

The truth is there are many churches in the south that conduct these kinds of counseling sessions with the pastor or youth pastor. This is not unusual at all. But if you're in an area like I am and evidently Jessica is where there's little to no spanking, the whole culture of it becomes pretty fascinating.

We both thank Chloe for giving us such a nice detailed report on what goes on on one of these sessions. She now finds herself in a town similar to those in the south, although she's in the Midwest. That's why it's so interesting to hear it from her perspective. If you grew up with it, that's just what you do, no questions asked.
