I do much the same with my two, 19 & just turned 21 with two differences. One, is they don't need it as often as yours. You average 8 to 12 weeks, every two three months. My two would be more like every three to five months with four likely being average. The other difference is a pre-spanking soap suds enema. A family tradition that goes back to at least my grandmother giving one before a spanking to my mom. These are not deliberately horrible, big enemas. Just our usual home soapsuds enema. I can assure you a VERY effective addition.

For the spanking part I start with my hand and then the hairbrush. For major things I'll follow up with 8 to 10 licks of the strap. As they age they don't need spanking as often as they once did but when they do the offense seems to be more critical and I find I'm using the strap more often.
