Lisa, u need to start spanking him. Give him a bedtime and chores to do and be consistent with his discipline. Go over why he is getting spanked and tell him for now on he will be getting spanked every time he doesn't follow your rules or is bad. Take down his pants and underwear and spank him over your knee with a wooden hairbrush or paddle hard 2x his age hard. If he does something really bad then 3x his age. When he turns 11 u can use the hairbrush or a belt and spank him laying over his bed or knee depending on how big he is. I would start spanking him immediately and if he has been that badly then his first spanking should be 3x his age to make him understand that u aren't playing around and get him under control. Hi there Lisa,

With all due respect to the two posters above, that kind of punishment with spanking leads to nothing but resentment and problems. Maintenance spanking, on the other hand, turns lives around and leads to a harmonious and happy household and loving relationships.
