To be clear. I think this a problem.
Also, NECD tax payers do indeed pay for an increasing budget either directly or indirectly. If the State or Fed subsidizes the district(s), it's on every NYS and/or U.S. tax payer's tab respectively. Relative to the amount the NECSD spends per pupil the ends doesn't come close to justifying the means. "Some" improvement isn't cutting it. If the NECSD was a private, self sustaining for profit business it would out of business and/or its customer base would walk and its "investors" would dump their shares. I await the rebuttals arguing the semantics.
