I'm in college on an academic scholarship. If I don't maintain good grades, I can't afford to go to college without taking out loans. My dad and I have an agreement. Any grade lower than an A results in a spanking. If it's a B, I get the strap. If it's a C or lower, I get the paddle, which hurts a lot more. My dad warned me that there would be no exceptions to this rule, and I said I understood.
For the most part, I actually think this is fair. It's a good motivator to keep my grades up so I can keep my scholarship. The problem is that this applies to ALL grades, not just exams or end of semester grades. Even homework assignments count.
Unfortunately, I have a class with a professor who likes to nitpick. This would be fine except that she frequently assigns online discussion posts as homework assignments. These are worth 4 points. I recently had a post where the professor took off 1 point for some minor issue, which meant I got 3 out of 4 points.
That's 75%, which is equivalent to a C. This meant that when I got home, I got a really hard spanking with that paddle. My dad was understanding of the grade, but he said that we had an agreement and rules are rules. So he didn't go easy on me at all.
I took off all of my clothes when I got home and waited for my dad to come in and spank me. I got really nervous when I saw he had the paddle. But I knew that this was the rule, so I bent over without complaint.
As I was bending over, I reminded my dad I only lost 1 point for a minor issue, hoping he would go a little easier on me. He said "I know. You just focus on keeping your butt sticking out for me."
OK, that's not a problem for me. I felt a tiny bit of hope that if I show how obedient I am by keeping my butt sticking out for him, he wouldn't paddle me so hard.
But no... that paddle SLAMMED into my butt like he was trying to launch me into orbit.
