Subject: Com Slot Ethernet

I am the proud owner of a CC that I just bought on ebay and happen to have a Performa 638 and a Performa 6360 that I can use to modify my CC.

My goal is to use the MB from the 6360 in the CC. My question is this:

My 638 has a com slot ethernet card, but is not on the network (we use it as a tv). I would like to network the PCC- can I use the enet card from the 638 once the conversion is complete?

Also, what is the general feeling on power. I would like to add a USB card, so I nderstand I am going to need 3.3v. Is it advisable to do the 3.3v conversion or to add a second PSU (hopefully the one from the 6360)? And if I add an addtional PSU, do I still need to do the 3.3 conversion?

I am new to this world and am reading everything I can find- but there's so much info!

Thanks,

Paco
