Thanx Guy's
I pulled the back housing off the Mac and found that the metal casing that surrounds the mobo and other components is pretty well rusted. The mobo itself is surprizingly clean, no sign of any corrosion at all. I cleaned up the metal housing and everything else as best I could, but now, I put it all back and it wont power up at all. No lights, fan, nada, zilch, nothing. The battery looked in good shape, but I replaced it with a new one from Radio Shack anyway, and still nothing. What really bugs me, is that one day it works.........the next it doesn't, ...for no apparent reason. Oh well, I guess nothing lasts forever right. UMMMM.....Anyone in the market for a parts Color Classic, (EBAY Item # 2004163561) with all the original software and books............CHEAP!!!!!!!!
