Subject: Help with porting Forum

Hi!

I'm investigating moving the forum to the AppleFritter site, and am discussing it with Tom Owad, the owner.

The issue is moving the Forum archive, which runs to almost 3000 files. Even pruning would leave over 1000, I guess, each of which will need editing to remove references to voy.com, the reply section etc etc, and the addition of AppleFritter specific stuff.

I am not going to plough (nor plow) through 1000+ files manually.

20 years ago on the UCSD p-System Advanced System Editor, I would have saved a sequence of commands and applied the sequence to each file in turn. I've never needed to do that since!

Suggestions, please! BBedit? AppleScript? Preferably Mac OS X compatible, and inexpensive.

TIA,

Stuart
