Congrats on getting 640x480 to work, finally. It is indeed a tricky and hair-pulling mod.

Any of the boards you mentioned can support internal SCSI and IDE drives. If you have a SCSI drive you want to use in the PCC, all you need to do is attach a new SCSI ribbon cable to the board connector; the stock cable on the connector is of the foxconn slide-out variety designed for the CD-ROM drive. However, if you plan to get a different drive for your PCC, I'd strongly recommend going IDE as it's much cheaper, offers larger capacities, and doesn't have the ID and termination issues that SCSI has. HTH.
