I have similar plans for the CC that is to get the LCD screen installed. However, I'm not sure that 'glossy' is the effect that will look best. The semi-matt graphite of some of the 5400s and 5500s that were sold in the UK (and the Mac TV in the US) is the finish I'm hoping for.

I have a keyboard from a Mac TV winging its way over the Atlantic as we speak! I hope!

Am about to try a 'semi-matt' car spray paint, after surface preparation as in the FAQ.
