Actually, the personality card isn't a video card in and of itself. It's just a way to get the video out to the internal monitor. The video out on the Logic Board is for mirror only.

When you attach an fixed frequency external monitor (like the apple 16" 832x624) to an AIO the internal monitor resizes itself to match.

Kind of a pain, but there're 3 PCI slots for other video cards, and with built in sound and ethernet, that's a bunch of slots for expansion! You could have 4 monitors on a Taco, including the internal.

(Out of boredom and an abundance of spare nubus video cards, two summers ago I made a IIfx with six apple 13" hi-res monitors. Not that it has anything to do with anything...)
