Subject: 6500 Powering issues.

I have re-read most of the pages at tesco.net and seem to remember reading that the 6500 board does not need a 3.3 regulator if I am not running PCI cards. I have installed an LC power supply that powers the 10GB 7200 IDE drive and 100MB Zip drive that I have installed. The analog board is going to drive the CRT and power the motherboard. My question.... Will the analog board have enough current available in its internal 3.3 regulator to support a USB pci card. I will be using a powered hub for the USB devices. The amp draw on the USB card is very low. Is there really 3.3 produced on the board and if so is there enough to support a USB card. The analog board will end up supporting.. a CRT, logic board, USB card (I hope) TV Tuner Card, and a CS II Ethernet card. Without powering the hard drive and ZIP drive should I have enough powering capacity to run all those logic board related items?? Someone who has done a 6500, please pipe in at any time. I am nearing the final assembly stages. And am ready to integrate the LC PS and begin testing. For those of you who are wondering... I installed the LC PSU where the speaker used to be and used a relay to energize it with a custom input harness.
Scott
