Subject: Stereo upgrade failed :(

It's not working. Yet. Here's the skinny.

I got the amps fine. I don't have any way to test 'em but I also don't have any reason to think that's the faulty part.

I matched CS1 for sure, so that's not it.

I matched the electrolytic cap, so that's not it. I've triple-checked the polarity on it as well.

I have moved RS7 to RS2.

I have a 5100 ohm resistor in position RS1, matching RS4.

The speaker is connected properly, with proper polarity.

I have a 3.3µF capacitor at CS5. This might be the problem, however, as the caps I have are *polarised* SMT caps. I ordered 3.3µF SMTs from Digi-Key and they sent me polarised ones. I've tried it in both positions with the same result - the speaker I've connected simply doesn't have any sound.

Anyone have any ideas? Anyone have any idea where I can get some nonpolarised 3.3µF SMT caps in a 1206 package?
