If you're planning to use an _internal_CD-ROM drive, you'll need an adapter cable to match the SCSI connectors, a power supply for the drive, and, ideally, a case for the drive.

IMHO, that's a lot of work. Better to get a CD-ROM drive case, or else an external drive to start with.

Putting a CD-ROM drive inside a CC can be done - see my site (URL in Forum header), but it's non-trivial and, unless it's slot load, severely compromises the visual appearance of a CC.
