Thanks for your help. The display has certainly improved following your advice about adjustment, but I think there is still something wrong.

As far as I can tell I now have it adjusted to the best or very close to the best it will do.

I've used TechTool Pro 2 to set up the display with the 'Video Geometry' section but the full colour screen (Red,Green,Blue,Yellow) buttons show up and display when clicked Yellow for Red, Blue for Green, Black for Blue, and White for Yellow on the CC.

Checking the Desktop Patterns against a Performa 6200 some are almost correct but others are way off. The 'roses' are always green ( instead of red ), terrible tartans etc no matter how much adjusting I do.

Could the analogue board be faulty ?

Any further thoughts would be very welcome.
