Putting a MacTV mobo in the CC would hardly be an "upgrade." The MacTV mobo has a ROM-limited RAM capacity of 8MB, even less than the CC's 10MB, and only runs slightly faster.

OTOH, you do get some TV functions. If you ask me, though, a working MacTV is worth FAR more than its capabilities might indicate (at least as much as a CC, maybe more) and should be left intact if at all possible.
