Anyway - thanks - I'll definitely try one.
What about ATI Radeon card? Is there any way to drive digital R,G,B signals straight from the card without buying expensive DVI (or analogue) decoder for the LCD side? I still can't understand why the DVI interface cards for the LCDs are so expensive - all they have is just TDMS receiver which translates differential serial signals to digital ones.
The problem is that with DVI interface card the chain will be something like this:
Video Card --> DVI transmitter/coder ---this is external cables---> DVI receiver --> LCD.
If it's possible to get digital signals straight from the card before they translated to the DVI (TDMS) then we can avoid unnecessary coding/decoding parts and therefore unnecessary costs of the solution.
What do you think?
I did not yet saw the Radeon card - so I don't know about availability of this. But geForce - does have internal LCD connector with raw digital signals.
