Unfortunately, the catheter discussion has apparently died down and "British Mum" has disappeared wherever she went - a shame!
Catheters are great for diaper training to induce bladder weakness and a significant loss of control without causing any lasting problems. A trained "weak bladder" can later be trained to be continent again.
I miss parents here anyway who train their diaper-wearing children strictly 24/7 - there are more than you think...
