So, I'll bore you with MY Florida experience....
I share your negativity about alot...I'm not happy with much in life unless theres something good like...um
a blowjob, a fat ass blunt.....or a bottle of Jaegermeister on ice.
Anyway, Florida is not an American state.
Same for Hawaii( Phillipino shoppers)
Texas(corrupt border guards)
California (capital of the "Left-Coast")
and of course...Florida
Florida, particularly So-Fla. is tropical. And I mean Tropical! The vegetation is different...the animals...freakin LIZARDS everywhere! And if you do not "spicking spaneesh" your fucked.
I recorded the first MARVELs CD at Dungeon Recording Studio in No. Miami. It was cool. Zimmy and I were trying to rock Florida. No luck. Florida is like Club MTV or some shit like that. Very similar to Cali. Zimm would agree he lived there for a few years....
Anyway Gonzo...I just want to share the shitty experiences w/ you.
First, Zimm and I would clean out scum apartments in the seediest parts of Ft. Lauderdale, Hallendale etc..and so on...
What we found in these apartments would flip you out...syringes, alot of used douches! Those ever popular "dime" ziploc baggies for the skumbags...plenty of roaches and even lizards.
The people...oh, let me tell you...
We were fixin an apartment in a shit neighborhood, we were the only white folk there.
Zimm was cutting the top of a caulking seal tube and slipped and almost took his picking thumb off. Out of commission. He gave me his new cell phone to give him a buzz when I was ready to be picked up at work. He was out on lots of painkillers(some legal...others not)so he couldn't work. So, there was this Haitian Lady in there in one of the apartments. Let me say stinky apartment! Holy Christ, it smelled like someone let a shit on fire! Or better yet as my buddy Bouge sez..."like Hot Garbage!"
Imagine that if you can...hot garbage!
So, as a nice guy I was amicable...she could tell that I was a northerner compared to the other trashy whites.
I helped her move some furniture and shit......
Anyway Gonzo...outside her door was an air conditioner. I had to get more paint about 10 yards around the corner. I set the cell phone on top went to get the paint, came back within 2-3 minutes....the phone was gone...forever. Haitians and they even speak FRENCH!
The neighbor was a fat ,semi-retarded, 20 something yr old kid from NYC named Sam or Saul or something. Oh, it was Son of Sam . Anyway he told me his parents sent him down to Florida and was being watched by the Psycho-police from the State of Florida. The reason his parents dis-owned him and sent him down to Florida to live in a room the size of a toilet stall..was because he ran over a kid on a tricyle..... and took out a few others...even a cop. Anyway the state was keeping him off drugs...but I knew thats what he needed, so I got the regularly drug tested freak stoned....
My Point....Florida is full of trash...its almost comical!
Zimm and I lived next door to some freaks that loved heroin.
One of the guys wanted to play with the Marvels....so we would try him. One day we went to a shady neighborhood in Hallendale with him,It looked like South Central LA. Fences...gates on all the windows of the small houses...creepy...anyway...we met a guy and the freak w/ us told me to put out my hand...the guy gave me heroin!
Nexyt stop the Ft Lauderdale Strip on the beach. Bikinis, freaks, tourists, tatoo parlors...like a classy Old Orchard Beach...(If your from N.E.) So we went to pick up his girl roomate at this mini mall on the strip,with a Hooters and an elevator to bring you to the second floor.
Anyway, after watching the freak boot up in the car...he saved to needle. We all got in the elevator and she took the needle and poked her arm like a fuckin junky fiend right in the elevator! The elevator stopped and there were people waiting to get on...I could have sworn she still had that bastard stuck in her arm! I cant type anymore
Florida sucks. I packed 3 boxes with all my shit and took Amtrak (24hrs to NTC) then to Boston...thats another story...
Anyway Gonz...no links...but I thought you might like my shared experience from that crazy place......
America will someday lose these states...Texas(apart of it) California and Florida......we will need to go in with our military. This is true for our borders as well. With all these Ultra Liberal Lefties ,(that support the well being of Al Quada detainees in Guantanamo Cuba!)and the Clinton Admin that left our legs wide open and our asshole bored out......we will lose.
These people Im talking about, will destroy our values and our right to get drunk and have freedom .....
