Seeing as which I have been removed permanently from the the Mantra message board, I have to make my comments here, and get ridicouled there, and I find myself subliminally tortured, due to the fact that I can't even deffend myself. But, this time it will be a bit different. I would like to give props to the boys of Mantra, actually Owen. I was reading the lyrics to "Ethreal"(I believe that is how you spell it)and I was really reading them, I do what I would do with my own lyrics,(see I have this problem remembering what I was writting about when I write my songs, and I usually have to read the lyrics 2 or 3 times after writting them to actually relize what they are. I have somewhat of split personalities, and a really depressive and somewhat paranoid, and corrupt mind!) and with my favorite bands, STP, Nirvana, ect. and I relized it's a very well written song. Then I read "Black Rain," and "Broken Mirror." I once a gain said to myself, "These are very well written songs." But, then I thought to myself, "Does Owen write about anything else besides drugs, deppresion, and how much 'Love sucks'?" I don't want it to sound like an insult, because, Imean they are really well written songs, it's just that I wrote my first song, guitar and lyrics when I was 12 and it was about love and deppresion and drugs, it was called "Roof Topp" it was a 3 chord wonder, and was decent. I guess my point is, is that it's all about experience, and I know you guys are going to ridicoul me for this post but I really don't care, I just say, try writting about something happy, because it's obvious that if you're not "hidding your prozac" you need to get some!

P.S. I guess it's to each's own what you write about, but if I ever saw you I'd have to buy a phat bag before going, or I would leave crying, and feling bad for you!
