For our second attempt at an EP we have decided to go back to old times, and record a live recording on a 4- track digital recorder. Although it will be stepping back, it will feel like old times, I think that's what we need to be refreshed upon. The days when we had no money, and we had no fans, just the people who would stop by the garage every once in a while. The album title will be "Shang-Hi Suprise." It's a prison term for when someone sneaks up on you and rapes your ass. "They are giving you the Shang-Hi Suprise." It relates to our Political point of views. How, Uncle Sam has been fucking the people in the ass for so long, and there is nothing we can do about it!
The song list for the album is as follows; "Blank Page," "The Way That I am," "Freedom(remix)," "Walls of Society," "Pieces," "Fall Away," and "Ian."
When I was writting the lyrics for this album, I wanted to come up with a theme. I didn't just want it to be a bunch of songs, I really spaced out the writting. It shows how much the whole band has grown. It will go from looking at life from the Anarchist point of view, that the government sux, and they are fucking us to, it's not the US it's society, and really deep lyrics on this album. These songs mean so much to me. There is a song about a friend on the ablbum, there is a song about my addictions on the album, there is a song about my mother(which is the first song since Stay Away that I have written more than the lyrics, I actually wrote the guitar part) the song is called Pieces, and there is a song about my good friend Ian that killed himself last summer. The album will be so much better than our debut, and it is so much more in depth with who we really are. I hope that when it is released you will buy it and listen close, it should be great.

Tim
