Congrats on a good win. I guess Bell didn't play. Didn't see alot of outside shooters for you guys. Goode is a turnover machine. Bell and Maxwell are pretty good. Maybe not quit as talented as Jordan from Siena, but played under control.

But FF defense was great. Goode, Maxwell and Todd did a great job of taking on Jerry Johnson and forcing him into turnovers and bad shots. Neither Johnson nor Robert Taylor can dribble left and FF forced them left the entire game. When dribbling left, Johnson will turn the ball over unless he can do something with it in the first 2-3 dribbles. Taylor has a shaky handle going left and just tries not to turn the ball over. As a result of the guard's defense, and the instant shot block inside, Rider never got an offensive flow the entire game

Of Course the Dengs were very good. I think FF will succeed to the extent that their defense forces teams out of what they want to do. FF has the best defensive team in the MAAC right now. Maxwell and Todd are better than Goode and Sogazi.

Listened to Don Harnum's comments on the post game show. He doesn't have a clue. He was whinoing that Deng Gai is an NBA shot blocker and that Rider can't compete against that. Problem with that statement is that Harnum (I guess) would like the rest of the MAAC recruit crappy players like he has. News bulleting to Don Harnum - some very good talent coming in the MAAC. Second dumb thing he said was "Gai is an NBA shotblocker, but has poor offensive recognition" - what ever that means.

Lastly, he complained about the refs, but if anyone got screwed it was Fairfield on 2 no calls at the end of the game.

But congrats on a solid win. The game was not as close as the final score indicated.

goode is allowed a stinker. post says he had 19 assists and only 2 turnovers in his last 3 games. he is in there for his defense anyways.

Alot of the TOs were unforced, but his defense was great.
