Subject: Handicapping next 3
This may be the most important 3 consecutive games of the season. Here is how I view the outcome:
0-3 a real nightmare; shows we've been playing good ball against weaker teams, but can't play with the big boys; a throwback to past failures
1-2 most likely outcome (hope I'm wrong); we should still be battling for one of top 4 seeds at Trenton; hurtful, but not devastating outcome
2-1 I like this scenario; keeps us in running for top seed, especially with a bunch of home games coming up; shows the team is for real!
3-0 only in my wildest dreams!!! Look for 2 byes in Trenton. TOT gets 3 year contract renewal

i picked manhattan to finish first and fairfield to finish in a preseason prediction thing we had on the siena board.
so i think that u have a good chance at going 2-1. or 1-2.
iona is thin up front and that is fairfields strength.
i have seen iona twice.
their guards are young and who knows what kind of game they will put together. will they look like all americans like they did against north carolina or bums like they did against siena.
stags inside game will be the difference. rebound rebound rebound.
siena is the game in doubt. saints played great on offense the last 2 games but lousy on defense. saints win when they rebound and play defense. they cant outscore to many teams. prosper is a mismatch against almost all of the maac teams and he will get his 20 to 25 points. the rest of the team goes game to game. some good some bad. haddix is a sensational freshman. if clark get the ROY haddix will finish second. i expect this to be a low scoring game with siena winning or a high scoring game with the stags winning.
finally manhattan... FLORES and physical big guys.
stags could win if they catch flores on an off night. when flores is on the whole team plays a level up.
when flores is off. st peters beats them.

I wish we had Bell to help on Flores. He plays ~35 minutes a game. It be nice to have very fresh defensive legs on him every one of those minutes.

We proved we can beat some mid level teams in the MAAC on the Road, thats an accomplishment when you can do that on the Road. But our games vs Iona and Siena are against 2 teams that are looking like top 4. To win those type of games on the Road, would be huge.
Manhattan is clearly the top team, but we have them at home. I would think that is our best shot at winning the next 3. We will probably be the underdog in the next 3 games; However:
- a good team would find a way to win 1 of them
- a very good team should win 2 of 3
- and a top team wins all 3
Should be very interesting to see where we stand.
