so then we can play well without him in future years! His play has been sporadic. We've watched him play great in games like the MAAC tournament vs. Siena, and we've seen him do very little as in our most recent duel with Manhattan. If he isn't committed to improving HIMSELF rather than blaming his teammates for not being competitive enough, then good riddance. I think he is being brainwashed by Roshawn McLeod. Deng Gai should also look beyond his possible future with the NBA and strive to gain a good education. With his ailing shins, etc, an injury can take him out of NBA contention quickly. He needs an education and the ability to speak English fluently if he wants to succeed in the US. Fairfield U is a team with heart and grit. We need someone who consistently gives all he's got at every game, not someone who is so focused on where he wants to be that he ignores what he needs to do TODAY to reach his goal.

Gene and Tim together need to hear him out perhaps with Ajou or Manute present so that he feels safe to state his concerns openly and is not intimidated. Doris and OT need time to respond with solutions, but they also need to assess whether this can be nipped for good, or will fester like a cancer through next year. Gene and Tim must do what is best for the team over the long-haul. I want this over with before our new recruits are disrupted next year.
