Subject: Here's our last chance.......

to get a win in the post season and to reach the goal of 20 wins this year. We haven't won a post season game in 30 years. Ironically, TODAY is the 30th anniversary of our first and only post season victory in our entire D1 history, that being against the Thundering Herd of Marshall. George Groom led the comeback with 22 as we fell behind early by 29-12, and went on to win 80-76 in MSG.

Tonight will be golden as we knock off a highly touted, NCAA bubble team. While advanced tickets have been slow to sell, GD reported only 2,000, we will have the Arena rockin' with over 6K, maybe more. Students will come out en masse (I can dream). We have blown 2 chances already this year to beat a tough opponent with our largest crowds (St.John's and Manhattan), and to bring those fans back. We'd better not blow this chance!

Looks like if we win tonight, and if we get Temple, we'll be traveling to Philly (much to Joe's delight), but if we get Drexel we may be hosting the 2nd round game at the Mohegan Sun arena, because Harbor Yard has monster trucks all weekend.

Hope to meet some of you again at the pregame FF reception in the upstairs bar area at 6:30.

Hope we bring our "A" game and "A" fans tonight. GO STAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
