Subject: Goode - The Most Improved Player in the MAAC

Goode was a player that I absolutely bashed saying that he was a D2 guard at best. I was 1000% wrong about him, and am very proud to watch him in a Stags uniform. He is a tenancious defender (I haven't seen anybody, other than maybe Lenihan from PC a couple of years back, guard the ball the way he does) and his offensive improvement is almost mind-boggling. He was critical last night, as Todd, who I love to see on the floor, was someplace other than in Trenton, driving the lane, dishing, key 3 pointer, and defending like crazy. To free_beer's point below, if he wasn't in foul trouble, Clarke may have quit the game of basketball.

An outright joy to watch and, in my opinion, the most improved player in the MAAC hands down. I am pleased to admit how wrong I was and how glad I am that we have him.

Goode is improved. So is Mitchell. Mitchell averaged 4ppg last season while shooting about 33% from the field, 29% from 3. This season, Mitchell is averaging 13ppg while shooting in the mid-40% from the field and almost 40% from 3. Aside from the improvement in his numbers, he's become the undeniable leader of the Saints as the season has gone on. Goode has improved, but he's not alone.
