i agree these are all wonderful ideas, but i'm not sure how feasable some of them are. community support is key and targeting a younger crowd (high school, middle school) is smart, but are kids going to pay that much to go to a game? the reason there were alot of kids at alumni hall was because the tickets were cheaper OR the tickets were given away. based on fairfield's alledged financial situation (see football and hockey), i'm not sure how quick they will be to give away tickets (and eat the expense). that being said, what do they have to lose by doing so? it's not like they'd be giving away tickets that people would have bought (after two year there, it's clear the demand simply isn't there)

on a separate note, it will be interesting to compare the attendance of the stand alone women's game at the arena (friday) with the rescheduled game now being played at alumni hall in terms of attendance and atmosphere. i think this is a move they should consider on a more regular basis with the women's squad
