I agree to assure an NIT bid I'd like to see us:

- beat Niagara
- win our final 2 regular season games
- advance to the MAAC final

...But, if we can't achieve all three, I still think we'd be in good shape if we win our final two, and then win 2 in the MAAC tourney to get to the final (and hopefully win the final to make all this mute!), assuming Manhattan wins the Tournament. If Manhattan gets knocked off, things could get interesting.

The NIT usually takes one MAAC team, and sometimes two. Has there eve ben a year recently when they didn't take at least one MAAC team? I'd be surprised if they didn't take any this year, and if Manhattan gets knocked off in the MAAC, could see them taking two teams.

The MAAC sent no one to the NIT in 2001 and 1999. There are no guarantees that the MAAC gets someone in.
