Puma, are you listening?? -- STAGAL, 20:10:54 01/21/03 Tue
I really think something BIG is now happening, everything is clicking for the STAGS. The Manhattan game brings back memories of Niagara, BC, Holy Cross, PC, etc. games of years past. It's been 17 years since we've seen anything like this. Puma and the Post can do much to help the MAAC truck keep rolling. I strongly believe that with some assistance, we will see a strong student turnout of near a thousand and a crowd that will rival that of St. Johns.

Lets cut Puma some slack -- Reindeer Fan, 20:26:08 01/21/03 Tue
I was very critical of the post last year, but after reading some of the articles online this year, I resubscribed. While in the past the post has negative and slanted in their coverage of the Stags, I have found the articles this year to be more balanced. They still haven't accepted the fact that Cormier is gone, but coverage has improved. I think if the Stags do continue to win, and more importantly if they begin to draw, The stags will get even better coverage.
As much as I don't like it the post does give UConn both men and women too much exposure, leaving less space for the stags. Perhaps if Uconn continues there decline and the stags their run, we will see more balanced coverage. I'd love to see the Stags play Uconn again next year. Don't count on it...
