Hey. Let's not overlook the game on Saturday @ Mulcahy. The game on Monday will only be a BIG one if we get by a suddenly forgotten Iona squad that has already knocked off an ACC team.

Yeah, I know we're 5-0 and we're feeling pretty good about ourselves but let's take it one game at a time!!

The voice of reason. It's going to be a barn burner at Mulcahy Saturday night. Our timekeeper is ready! Forget Siena. By the time the regular season is over they will be pork.

Iona is always a tough game for the stags. I hope this can be the year we find a way to beat them on the road. If the stags win the next three games they can run the table. However, they need to take the next three one at a time, and Iona will be as tough an opponent as the Saints or Jaspers.

I think Iona might be the hardest opponent the stags will be facing in the next week or so, because this team will be out for blood. With the controversial call at the end of the game at Bridgeport the Gaels will be looking for revenge. I know we have Ajou and Deng back, but I would not overlook this Iona team, especially when we are playing on their home court. Let's Go Stags!!!!!

Have NO intention of underestimating or looking beyond Iona. That will be a very heated contest, one that we may well lose. The STAGS are now capable of playing and winning against almost any MAAC opponent. The only reason I mentioned Siena above was due to a verbal joust with a Saints poster who said to "bank" a W over us. I see the top 3 teams being Manhattan, FF, and Siena (not necessarily in that order) at the end of the season vying for #1 seed and 2 byes in Trenton. I think it is likely we will end up getting 1 bye, and that's ok. It may even work to our advantage not to be sitting idle for 2 days.
