Subject: Team Concept - "Hero of the Game"

Bob Huessler on the radio termed it the "Hero of the Game".... and we have a different one each game.

We have played 14 games and 9 different Heroes.... thats amazing. The next one on the list is Ajou Deng, and I would expect that to happen over the next couple of weeks.

For the first few months of the season we were disagreeing on who should start, and who should get the minutes. Little did I realize that this team might be best suited by playing different combos and whoever is hot on a given night. Our depth has helped us survive injuries, sickness, and suspensions, without missing a beat. The only true consistency is that this team is playing hard, playing tough "D", and playing with great chemistry.

You hit it right on the head. I don't know if there is another team in the league that has this type of depth. The platoon rotations and combination changes have demonstrated we've got a bunch of guys who can mix it up. Being without the Dengs for the first couple of games was a major handicap for us and we still hung in there. I think this is the beginning of alot more excitement for us stag fans!
