Subject: Siena - Keys to the Game

- Saints have 4 players that can hit they 3 (Karangwa, Mitchell, Jordan, and Andrews). They shoot it often and connect on a good percentage. We have to always have a man in front of them.

- Deng Gai cannot get into foul trouble. Robbie is capable as his backup/replacement, so as long as both of them can play agreessive in the midde, then I think we will be fine. Remeber that Gai played only 15 minutes in last yeast MAAC Tourney loss. That cannot happen again.

- Like Iona, Siena can match our height, so we need to control the boards, and go inside to Oscar, Robbie and Max.

- Keep Siena from a big run that gets the crowd into the game...... our defense has to prevent that.

- Goode needs to be effective bothering their guards, and a big shooting game by Delfico would also be nice.

The goal for the Stags will be to try to keep the game close, and have it go down to the final minutes with Todd and Goode in there.

keeping the siena fans out of the game will be important. i would expect fairfield to keep the pace on the slow side, but still pressure their guards. stags are used to playing in arenas and shooting in arenas, so that will help. is todd fully healed with his ankle, if so, i expect him to have a big scoring game. he has been quiet lately, and is due for a big game. stags win in a close one.
