Understand the frustration with basketball season being two weeks away, but did anyone know that the Niagara strategic communications office is staffed by one person right now?

Shawn Gillen is covering all 19 sports. That means he's responsible for everything - from posting stories and bios online to taking photos and creating graphics for social media, to being at every home sporting event to provide stats and coverage.

Even Saint Peter's has some interns to help with the work load.

Thanks, Steve, you obviously have inside connections of some sort, so your insightful response is much appreciated. I had no idea that just one person was responsible for all the activities needed to create the information we're looking for. Thanks again for setting us straight.
