When is the last time NU tried to really market a contest at a higher level? Ever? Other schools actively market their athletics, but not NU and it shows!

Big Red Freakout! is back on Saturday, February 21
Before the puck drops, the RPI hockey community takes over Big Red Freakout! Ice House — the official alumni pregame and postgame reception that brings RPI hockey fans together in one place.
Event details at a glance:
• What: Big Red Freakout! Ice House (pregame buffet and postgame reception)
• Who: Alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of RPI Hockey
• When: Saturday, February 21
• Ice House begins at 4:30 p.m.
• Buffet dinner, a Pep Band performance, face painting and “tattoos” by the Red & White Student Organization
• Big Red Freakout! game at 7:00 p.m. vs. Harvard
• Postgame reception immediately following the game
• Meet the Men’s Hockey team and Head Coach Eric Lang, grab autographs, enjoy complimentary desserts and hot drinks, and catch a postgame performance by the RPI Dance Team, with a cash bar available.
• Where: Heffner Alumni House (free shuttle to and from the Houston Field House)
Important: Ice House registration does not include game tickets. All attendees must purchase game tickets separately through the RPI Box Office, and advance dinner registration is required – use the red button below.
