I remember the 6-21 season back in the early 60s. We had one GREAT player: Tom Lenney, who averaged about 21 points per game. That team was bad but this 2025-26 edition makes that squad look like an NIT team.

GP just can't get D-1 level kids to NU. I mean , I don't really blame him too much given the NIL, portal and administration at Niagara, but some of the blame has to be directed his way for not putting at least a somewhat competitive team on the floor. We are not even a cupcake program, we're just the filling !

And don't tell me places like Marist and St. Peter' have huge pots of NIL funds to dole out...GP is just a failure at recruiting, harsh as that may sound.
