Subject: Kerosene Lamp

I have a kero. lamp which I am seeking info about and may sell. The lamp is branded "Hitchcock Lamp, Watertown New York Pattented Jan 25,1866 April 23 1872, Jan7 1873, Aug 12 1873, Dec 2 1973 and Dec 23 1873 The lamp is about 15 inches tall and either hangs in a gimble which i have or stands on a table. It is Glassless, and has a clockwork fan which is wound up in the base of the lamp ,,it sends a draft of air through the lamp body and out beside the wick. This draws the flame up as there is no fleu.Can any one throw some light on this curious lamp. regards Jim.
