*The young stallion's journey here commences, and henceforth will be his struggle - and that of his family, including his young daughter - to travel to the beach upon which Hyzenflae bore him into the world. The beach upon which blood was spilt and a tiny life ended.*
*Witraz appears, his coat the same dark bay, so close to black, with a slight misty tinge. He casts his head over his shoulder, the spring wind whipping away strands of his wispy mane. His tail flagged as a proud banner, he turns for his mare and her filly. It was too true, thought he, that the three most precious possessions in the world were a Mare with a Daughter in Foal with a Filly. He cannot smile, for their journey is not one of pleasure, but it will strengthen the young filly - the older mares will like to see her, perhaps not so much as a filly of Fajera's or Amira's, but that was only because he was a male, and must accept his subordinate stature in the eyes of his mother. He whinnies sharply, and heads towards the trail - it is rocky and a long one, but they must go, there is no alternative.*
