She got it wrong: she based Hogwarts in the real world, insofar as any world in a book can be real, she based it in this reality/universe/world etc. the folklore of our nation is that Wizards fly, if at all, under their own steam, using their own magic, NOT on broomsticks. Witches and Warlocks (male witches) fly on broomsticks and pitch-forks respectively.
My priniciples will hold fast in the face of everything apart from Alcohol, not even a woman can change what I will think or do (My gf will just have to see H.P. on her own, which she is doing at the moment, or sometime today at least).
