We've been told that 20/20 or 60 minutes is going to be showing a story on Landover Baptist Church in the next couple weeks. Apparently a girl suffered brain damage ten months ago in a tragic accident. What was told to me by a former member of the congregation who was there is that they were on a weekend retreat, during which the church was to perform baptisms in the lake. Sadly the girl I mentioned was being baptised but in doing so was almost drown.
I don't want to judge Landover Baptist Church, because as God said "Judge not lest ye be judged." I will say that I'm sure their members are all wonderful Christians. I've only heard good things, especially about Deacon Fred and the staff of LBC.
