Subject: Condemnation?

Jesus in the Bible shows no condemnation towards those who seek Him. Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for their self-rightious attitude and their lack of love for the lost. Jesus LOVED the sinners, the sick, and the outcast. Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” He did not abandon us for our sins, but paid for them. I would like to compare this to a woman who has spent more than her credit cards can hold and is far in debt. A man who falls in love with her offers to pay off her debt and asks her to marry him and live in his palace. She has the choice to accept his offer or to reject it. That choice is available to everyone. Isaiah 30:18 "The Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show compassion" Also, God will NEVER abandon you. When a man and wife take their wedding vows they promise themselves to each other for as long as they live. Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you nor forsake you." His part of the deal is closed now the only thing left to do is accept his gracious offer. Rom 10:13 "Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." If you have accepted Him that is all that is required of you. The message of His love should be spread though. I pray that I will be used by Him in an incredible way. Rom 10:14 "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" This does NOT mean we need to force anyone to believe in Him. In John 10:14 Jesus said "I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me." If their heart is open to Him he will be the one to call them. You don't have to push them, they will openly come to Him if they are His. If you want to chat some time my AIM is FurbyWithESP and I suggest you read through the Bible. It holds more information than I could possibly relay to you on here. I will be praying for you.
