He really didn't know what to say to that - he didn't even know what had been going through his own mind. When he was working, he stayed so busy that he could do think of absolutely nothing else, and when he wasn't working - he was so strung out that if he even entertained coherent thoughts, he didn't remember what they were by the time he woke up.
